Folio (about 317x205 mm.). (4), 1-667 (some leaves numbered as pages, partly irregular pagination), (1 blank) ll. Title within wide figurative woodcut border (mended in outer margin).
Contemporary richly blindstamped pigskin over wooden boards, worn, bras fittings (clasps missing), some marginal repairs, later inner doublures and endpapers, spine in five compartments, spine labels missing. About 10 leaves mended in outer margin, some most marginal dampstaing, some foxing. Annotation in upper margin of title "Liber Magni Astonis Helsingi... 1560" and one other signature dated 1652. Old marginal annotations and underlinings to text. Old annotation mounted on first endpaper. Bookplate of Roman Kaczmar.
