Folio (about 343x218 mm.). (6), 1-342, (i)-xvii, (13), (1)-183, (9, last page blank) pp. Title printed in red and black within wide engraved figurative border (cut in the margins, laid down on new paper, browned and inkstained), 3 large woodcut printer´s devices, 97 woodcuts in text by J. Amman.
Contemporary richly blind-tooled vellum over wooden boards, worn, 5 brass-corners (3 missing), 1 brass clasp and fitting (one missing). About 10 leaves with marginal tears, one leaf with larger paperloss in lower margin. Title and first 4 leaves with inkstains, (one textleaf large inkstain). Otherwise some minor foxing amd staining. Contemporary underlinings and marginal annotations, partly in red. Old annotations on endpapers, on inside of upper board signature and annotation by Mattias Palbitzki.. Roman Kaczmars stamped bookplate on inside of upper cover. Catalogue cut moynted on inside of lower board.
