The 43 map series, 43/C+D, 44/C+D, (sheet C/D-E/F) Holland, Belgium, France Germany (west) and Germany Protectorate, Slovakia, Poland, Hungary (on verso Croatia, Montenegro, Hungary, Slovakia etc), The Neatherlands,
printed in colour on silk or rayon, c. 710x825 mm (with margins).
These maps were issued to Allied pilots of the US, RAF, and RCAF and printed by the company of John Waddington, Ltd, the maps consist of eight colors and are primarily at a scale of 1:1,000,000 with larger scale inserts. The maps were usually printed on both sides, although single-side versions exist.
