4to. 253 x 190 mm. (8), X, 602 pp. Engraved portrait, 4 folding engraved maps, 3 folding engraved plates and 1 folding type-set table. Somewhat worn mottled contemporary calf with richly gilt spine with red label and red edges. Spine extremities worn. Occasional foxing. Exlibris of Axel Rydén J:or on front board inside.
Warmholtz 310. Also printed in 8vo. A not complete Swedish translation by Gjörwell was published in 1764-65. Mauvillon was a professor in French at the university of Braunschweig.
