Incunabula leaf from "Hortus sanitatis" printed by Schönsperger in Augsburg, 1485. 1 column, 26/13 lines. Printed in black, and with 2 large handcoloured woodcut plants. Textual area 230x150 mm, total area 290x210 mm.
This leaf is from the second edition of Hortus sanitatis, printed the same year as the first edition published by Schöffer in Mainz.
Light stains in margin, pagination and a note to one of the flowers in contemporary pen.
Incunabula leaf printed by Nicolas Jenson in Venice, 1480. 4 columns, 66 lines. Printed in black with 3 initials in red and blue. Textual area 240x155 mm, total area 300x210 mm. Some creases.
