Nicolas Fréret (1688-1749), French scholar, chronologist. This edition of his collected works (not famous for its accuracy) is divided in Histoire (I-IV), Chronologie de Newton (VII-X), Chronologie des chinois (XI-XIV), Géographie (XV-XVI), Sciences et arts (XVII), Mythologie (XVIII) and Philosophie (XIX-XX).
