Engraved seachart, two sheets joined, with outline colour, ca 520x900 mm. Framed with no glass.
The coasts of Ireland, Wales, England, France and Spain are featured. All of the approaches to east are lined and lettered with the Explanation under the title detailed the type of ground found. The track of the British Fleet commanded by Lord Howe during the battle of the Glorious First of June is shown. It is known in an earlier state by William Faden dated 1778, here it is noted as a 3rd Edition.
