Large 8vo. 290 x 195 mm. 363, (1 blank, 1) pp. Illustrated. Title printed with red and black. 1 helioengraved portrait, 30 engraved plates (15, really, but in 2 states each).
Red half morocco with gilt spine with inlays of brown leather (bulrush and water-lilies), marbled boards with gilt filets, top edge gilt (others merely trimmed) and preserved wrapper, spine inclusive. Signed P. Ruban. A few minor stains.
Edition of 100 numbered copies printed on papier de Hollande, of which this No 20.
