TWO ARABIC MANUSCRIPTS 18th - 19th CENTURY.

Manuscript in arabic containing parts of the Quran, probably early 18th century (160x115 mm).
(150) pages. Islamic flap binding with decorated covers. Black text inside green and gold framework, several colored vignettes and 9 geometrical figures with text inside. Binding worn, dampstained, smudged and stained throughout, several tears and some paper loss to margins, binding almost completely loose.

Manuscript in arabic containing practical rules according to the Quran, dated 1170 (=1757) (c. 210x145 mm). (116) pages. Half calf with decorated paper covers. Written in black and red.
Binding worn and re-backed, damp stains, smudges and stains throughout, some paper loss in text, about 10 pages with large wormholes, binding almost completely loose.
