4to. 279 x 202 mm. 399 partly coloured lithographed plates with (unpaginated) accompanying text-leaves, and 4 paginated indexes. With a 6-page hand-written contemporary list of plates, loosely added. Worn and faded red contemporary half calf with gilt spines with black labels, and marbled boards. A few minor stains. Library labels of Institutionen för fysiologisk botanik, Botaniska institutionernas bibliotek, (Uppsala), and stamps of Upsala Botaniska Museum. 4 volumes.

Complete copy, issued in 20 fascicules, but not in the same order as given by indexes. There doesn´t seem to be 2 identicval copies, but this 2 title pages to part one, 1 with imprint 1843 and the other with 1843-1846, a list of plates and a preface (dated Dec. 1842), a register of 6 pp, the second part has a title page with imprint 1843-1870, a list of plates a register with 7 pp, the third part has a title page with imprint 1843-1870, a list of plates and a register 6 pp, and the fourth part has a title page with imprint 1843-1870, a list of plates, a 2-page preface, paginated iii-vi (dated by A. W. Eichler May 1870) and a register with 12 pp.
