Gustaf af Klint (1771-1840), Swedish naval officer and cartographer in Karlskrona and Stockholm. During the Swedish war against Russia 1788-90, af Klint served on his fathers ship Gustaf III. Most famous for his sea charts in Sveriges sjöatlas, which was published between 1797 and his death in 1840. The project continued up to 1848 by his heirs. In total the 1848 atlas consisted of 64 maps.

Centrefold, repaired marginal tears, minor marginal paper loss, one tear slightly into the map. Some spotting and offsetting.
