Engraved seachart elaborately embellished with two large strapwork cartouches, sea monsters, and two sailing ships, on land there are animals like a fox, wild boar and a goat. Ca 345x520 mm. French text on verso, page number 33.
A very early sea chart covering the southeastern coast of Sweden from Ystad and Sandhammaren in Skåne to Kalmer, including portions of the islands of Bornholm and Oland. Many details including soundings, sandbars, anchorages, towns, and coastal topography.
