4to. 214 x 170 mm. (2), 20, 452, 424, 112, (4) pp. Main title printed with red and black. 1 engraved portrait. Illustrated with woodcuts. Stained and somewhat worn contemporary vellum. Minor stains. Brown stain pp. 243-64, red sealing wax in lower corner p. 319 in first part. Worming in top margin pp. 303-13, tear in p. 317 in second part. Paper repair in top margin pp. 22 and 23, worming in top margin pp. 71-end, damp in margins at the end of the third part.
Proveniens: Nils G. Ahlin (disponent Ulriksfors, ägde Norrlands största privata boksamling, ca 6000 band).
Erik Hallqvist, Östersund (född 1887), bokhandlare (nuv. ägares morfar), egen bokhandel sedan 1907. Han köpte Ahlins samling 1942 och blev då intervjuad i Östersund-Posten den 28 januari: "Allmänheten kanske kan få en uppfattning om samlingens storlek om jag nämner att jag behövde 14 fullastade taxibilar för att få hem böckerna".
