Contemporarary blind stamped pig-skin binding, spine with four raised bands, boards with black stamped inlays, front board with Jesuit emblem and rear with an Agnus Dei, red edges. Worn in corners, foot of spine with minor tear, small wormholes. Lacks a half title. Old owner´s notes with ink on title. A worm hole in margin first 20 leaves and between pp. 835 and 868, some spotting, a bit larger on pp. 236-240, stain p. 681.

VD17 12:192851F. First edition of the latin translation of this collection of sermons by Gabriele Inchino, translated and edited with comments by Antonius Dulcken (1560-1623). The Italian original "Prediche sopra i quattro Novissimi" was published in 1596. Gabriele Inchino (1548-1608) was an Italian preacher and theological writer known for his sermons and books on preaching.
