Blundlund is a Swedish artist duo known for their abstract pictures and playful sculptures. Their work is inspired by political painters such as Carmelo Arden Quin and Torres Garcia, but there is also a strong vein of influence from hardedge painters such Karl Pfahler. Blundlunds´ pictures have a displacing and a constitutive function, which bewilders and stimulates the observer to critical reflection, ekphrasis, if you will.
