Folio. 460 x 300 mm. 2 printed wrappers = 2 titles, and 36 lithographs numbered 1-36 in 2 volumes. The lithographs printed on china paper mounted on heavy backing paper.
Contemporary bindings with red calf spines, marbled board papers. Lettering on the spines reads "Deroy Vues de France 1" and "Deroy Vues de France 2".

Views from France depicting landscapes, towns, cathedrals, rivers, harbourrs, monuments etc.
The lithographs are printed by Lemercier in Paris. Drawn by Chapuy and Deroy who seems to have been involved in many of the topographical works of the era.
