Worn green contemporary half calf with gilt spines and marbled boards. Front board of volume II nearly loose. Stamps of Manchester Subscription Library. Partly soiled. Some foxing and minor stains. 2 volumes.

Bring, Itineraria Svecana, 800. Kjellgren, Den svenska jakten i litteraturen 854.06. The first edition was published the same year. A Swedish translation was published in 1855. One of the best accounts of 19th century Scandinavian, mainly Swedish, peasant hunting and fishing, with many interesting ethnographical and zoological observations.
