Contemporary brown full calf, slightly worn, blindtooled spine in six compartments, red edges. Covers partly askew. Signatures on fly lef. Title with slight dampstain.

Soulsby 51. Hulth 5. Sixth i.e. the 3rd original edition, dedicated to count Tessin. The edition was completely rewritten by Linnaeus and heavily enlarged. This is also the first illustrated edition.
