8vo. 200 x 120 mm. (38), 178, 508, (4) pp. Engraved title. Slightly worn contemporary calf with raised bands, gilt spine with red label and goffered gilt edges. Recurring faint damp. A few minor stains. Old notes with ink in margins. Owner´s signature of Olavus Andreae Knös (Olof Andersson Knös) on the engraved title and of Carl Em. Wäng (or Wång) on rear end leaf.

Darlow & Moule 5134. A revision of Leusden´s famous Hebrew bible of 1659-61. Johann Leusden (1624-1699), Dutch orientalist and theologian. He was a professor at Utrecht and very influential, not least on Swedish contemporaries such as Samuel Pontin, Magnus Rönnow and Erik Benzelius the younger.
Carlander III s. 61-63. Olof Andersson Knös (1756-1804), Swedish librarian and bibliognost, owner of one of the largest private collections of classical literature and Swedish history.
