ENGRAVED LONDON VIEWS C. 1750 (2). 2 framed engravings 255 x 180 mm (plate)/350 x 245 mm (frame) showing 1) the London Stock Exchange, 2) Whitehall Palace, 3) the Tower of London and 4) Saint James´s Palace. No place, no year. Minor spots in margins, otherwise clean and distinct prints.
Most probably from afolio edition of an Italian translation of Thomas Salmon´s ´Modern History, or The Present State of all Nations...´ (1735). Italian translations appeared from 1740-61.
