With illustrations from Samaria including views, people and ceremonial scenes from the Holy Mountain of Gerissim. The utopian Christian sect called the American Colony formed by religious pilgrims who emigrated to Jerusalem from the US and Sweden.
The text has been translated into Swedish from the author´s manuscript (in English) by Ernst Klein. Prefaces by Selma Lagerlöf and Sven Hedin.
