LEAF WITH DECORATED INITIAL. Italy, 15th century. Manuscript on vellum, in Latin, one stave ruled in red, musical notation in black, on verso five staves ruled in red, musical notation in black.
With large decorated initial in gold, pink, green, blue and yellow with marginal flowers, on verso one smaller initial in blue and red. Size of leaf including margins c. 530 x 370 mm., size of initial c. 140 x 170 mm.
