Provenance: According to loosely inserted note written by Princess Irina Pavlovna Paley and dated Biarritz 11 July 1959, and according tothe owner Gunnel Wahlström, this volume was given to her by Princess Irina Pavlovna Paley (1903-1990, daughter of Grand Duke Paul (Pavel) Alexandrovich of Russia and his second wife, Olga Valerianovna Karnovich). The note is signed Irene de Monbrison, née Romanoff, Princess Iréne Paley.
