(290x230 mm). 1 engraved frontispiece portrait of the author (some foxing), 1 large folding engraved map (one red line, probably marking a travel route, tear), 14 engraved plates, of which 5 coloured (of 15, lacking one, 6 plates dampstained in lower margin, a few spots, offsetting from plates to text), 6 leaves engraved music.

Contemporary half cloth, worn and somewhat spotted, uncut. 2 volumes.
