Small 8vo (170x100 mm.). (2), 300, (2), 344, (2), 252, (2), (3), 8-256 pp. Lacking 4 pages in vol. 4 (A1-A2). All four titles present. With woodcut vignettes on title-pages and a few other pages.
Contemporary half calf bindings, partly worn and rubbed, spines partly with damages to upper part, small monogram stamp to lower part of spine F W B, partly split inner hinges. Title pages with stamped name, Jean Backlund, his signature on inside of covers, vol. II with another signature on title as well, some spotting and foxing, vol. IV with dampstain to flyleaf and title, pages 139-40 with tear.
