8vo (178x115 mm.). Original green printed wrappers with the year printed 1893, on verso printed Acting Rights, bookseller´s label from Boyveau-Chevillet, Paris.
Later half calf with marbled boards, rubbed and worn, faded spine, gilt title to spine.

Later printing, probably from 1910 with the original green wrappers from the 1893 edition.

First trade edition was published in 1899 and the so called "Acting edtion" was published between 1893-95. Earnest was first staged in London, ´at the St. James´s Theatre, on Thursday, February 14th, 1895´.
