Fine Art Auction

Eclectic & Decorative
24 February 2022

Catalogue

Eclectic & Decorative is an established and popular concept that draws a wide audience. The auction brings together an eclectic mix of items that add personality. Here, art, crafts and antiques are mixed with design objects from our leading Nordic designers, together with the latest contemporary art in an inspiring interior. The auction will end with a collection of exclusive watches and clocks. Here you will find the most fun and interesting items that contribute to a perfect ambience!

Here you can botanize among small folding tables made of alder-root by Lorentz Lundelius in Köping around 1800, furniture by Josef Frank and Mats Theslius and a beautiful cabinet with marquetry decor with delicate Stockholm motifs, made by Birger Ekman 1944. There are also glass tableware, beautiful vases and silver for the set table. The auction also includes a nice collection of pewter items.

The art department boasts a diverse collection of art, comprising exciting works from the 17th century until the latest contemporary art, with names such as Jan Håfström, Staffan Hallström, Klara Kristalova and Fredrik Wretman. There are also Swedish audience favorites such as Einar Jolin, Lennart Jirlow, Jenny Nyström and Bert Håge Häverö. In the international department we find graphics by, among others, Marc Chagall, Christo and Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec.

The Sale ends with a bespoke and exclusive watch auction, with timeless classics such as Patek Philippe Nautilus, Rolex Daytona, Audemars Piguet Royal Oak. With the emphasis on varying models from Rolex.

This time we have the great honor of having a guest curator: the stylist, interior designer and writer Marie-Louise Douglas who has chosen her personal favorites from our Eclectic & Decorative Sale.
