We have sold eras such as Baroque, Rococo and Gustavian when these were contemporary. Among our many noted customers through the centuries we find Karl XI, Gustav III, Carl Michael Bellman, August Strindberg and Selma Lagerlöf. It is a cultural heritage that we carry with pride and respect. The auction house’s 350 years behind means that our business model going forward is based on long-termism and a vision of circular thinking, a valuable contribution to our contemporary times where the importance of genuineness is becoming increasingly important. Sustainability is our core DNA: we are now embarking on our next 350 years. Today, Stockholms Auktionsverk is owned by Auctionet, whose auction platform has over 920,000 registered buyers from over 190 countries – and according to Google trends, our combined brand recognition is over 64% in Sweden. It can be contrasted with Uppsala Auction Chamber’s 4% and Bukowski’s 32%. Of all items that are auctioned today in Sweden, Stockholm’s Auktionsverk accounts for about 40% of the total, and during 2024 we delivered a total of four White Glove sales, i.e. auctions without recall.
