The big auction of the year! Fine Art and Antiques

Collectors and lovers of exquisite items will find what they are looking for here: Stockholms Auktionsverk Hamburg starts into the fall season with a curated auction of  Fine Art, Antiques and Asian Art. The highlights include a variety of silver items, glass, ceramics, furniture from the time of Louis XVI, Asian art, miniatures and paintings from the 17th to the 21st century. The auction includes Emil Nolde’s ‘Segler und drei kleine Dampfer’, etching from 1910, the steel sculpture ‘Head’ by Horst Antes and a winter landscape by Ernst Eitner. Large-format paintings from the 19th century, such as a ‘Landscape with horses’ by Robert Kummer, a marine painting by the Austrian artist Albert Rieger or an ‘Italian street scene’ by Willem Karel Travers complement the offering. A large floor vase measuring 103 cm in height, designed by Paul Börner for the Meissen manufactory in the 1930s, is impressive as well as a Burmese Buddhist Thabeik bowl from the 19th century. The preview is already running at Gasstraße 4b in Hamburg. The online auction starts on September 27th and ends on October 7th, 2024.
