1.1 Bidders can participate in the online bidding at Auktionsverket by using a password obtained after application. Submitted bids are not revocable. Create an account
1.2 The bidder with the highest submitted bid will become buyer when the auction closes. Transfer of purchase to another buyer is not allowed.
1.3 If two bidders have submitted identical bids, the first submitted bid is the winning bid.
2.1 Stockholms Auktionsverk accepts and executes bidding instructions. These instructions should be delivered in writing to Customer Service.
2.2 Proof identity is required when submitting bidding instructions. Stockholms Auktionsverk reserves the right to ignore bidding instructions if the bidder is deemed not to have the ability to pay for the bid submitted.
2.3 Written bidding instructions must be received by Customer Service at the latest by 5 p.m on the day before the date of auction. Bids are not revocable. Stockholms Auktionsverk reserves the right to ignore bidding instructions that are submitted too late.
2.4 Stockholms Auktionsverk treats bidding instructions as confidential and will bid as advantageously as possible on behalf of the bidder.
2.5 The bidder with the highest bid will become buyer when the auction closes. Transfer of purchase to another buyer is not allowed.

2.7 Stockholms Auktionsverk will not be liable for any damage that is caused to the bidder if Stockholms Auktionsverk fails to carry out the bidding instructions.
2.8 The bidder will be liable for purchases that are registered on the basis of unclear or incorrect bidding instructions.
An item’s estimate is based on a market valuation of the item carried out by Stockholms Auktionsverk. The estimate serves solely as a guiding price and the price at which an item is sold may differ significantly from the estimate.
4.1 A successful bid will incur a bidding charge of 22,5 % including VAT of the hammer price plus a hammer fee of SEK 80 including VAT for each individual item. Within the car & vehicle category a successful bid will incur a bidding charge of 15 % including VAT of the hammer price plus a hammer fee of SEK 80 including VAT for each individual item.
4.2 In accordance with the Swedish Copyright Act (SFS 1960:729), an Artist Resale Right (droit de suite) is also levied at 5 % of the hammer price on works of art, ceramics, glass, silver, furniture and textiles. This charge concerns only items that are protected by copyright. This copyright protection lasts for 70 years from the death of the creator of the work. Exemptions from this charge are sales for 5 % of the base price amount or below, and applied art objects of which several identical examples are produced.
5.2 The buyer will receive a written confirmation of the purchase after the auction by mail or email.
6.1 Payment can be made by bank transfer stated on the buyer’s invoice. Payment can also be made by card at “My pages” on Auctionet.com or on site at the auction house. Payment must be made within 5 days after the auction.
6.2 If payment has not been made by the deadline stated in clause 6.1, Stockholms Auktionsverk has the right to take one or more of the following measures:
i) to cancel the purchase
ii) to demand payment
iii) to charge SEK 50 as a dunning charge
iv) to charge penalty interest on late payment of 2% per month
v) to resell the item at the purchaser’s cost without further notice to the purchaser. Stockholms Auktionsverk has full and unrestricted right to determine the estimate and whether or not the item shall have a reserve price.
Stockholms Auktionsverk also has the right to deduct from the sum received for the item all money owed by the seller to Stockholms Auktionsverk.
7.2 If items are not collected by the deadline stated in clause 7.1, a storage charge of SEK 50 including VAT will be charged per auction item and per calendar day.
7.3 Stockholms Auktionsverk’s liability for the care of the item ceases id the item is not collected by the deadline stated in clause 7.1.
7.4 For items that are not collected within 7 working days of the date of purchase, Stockholms Auktionsverk will have the right to take the following action:
i) To send the item for storage at a shipping/storage company of Stockholms Auktionsverk’s choosing. All transport and storage costs will be charged to the buyer.
ii) To re-auction the item at the buyer’s cost without any further notice to the purchaser. Stockholms Auktionsverk has full and unrestricted right to determine the estimate and whether or not the item shall be given a reserve price.
Stockholms Auktionsverk has the right to deduct from the sum received for the item all money owed by the seller to Stockholms Auktionsverk.
7.5 All transport of items to the purchaser takes place at the purchaser’s cost and risk. Stockholms Auktionsverk will organise on request the transport of purchased items to its branches in Göteborg and Malmö. This transport will be charged in accordance with the applicable price list.
8.2 Clocks and watches are sold as works of art and Stockholms Auktionsverk has no responsibility that they work accurately.
8.3 Information that is provided regarding for example the creator, authenticity, age, technique, provenance or condition serve solely as guidance for the purchaser in connection with his/her examination of the item. Stockholms Auktionsverk is not liable in the event that such information is incorrect unless the incorrect information has been provided by gross negligence.
8.4 Pictures are provided solely for identification purposes. Stockholms Auktionsverk is not liable for any damage or defects that are not shown in by such picture or illustration.
8.5 Items are sold in accordance with the lot description. Stockholms Auktionsverk reserves the right to change the description before the auction closes.
8.6 Stockholms Auktionsverk has the right to rectify or repair any such errors in sold items for which Stockholms Auktionsverk is liable. If repair/rectification is not carried out within a reasonable period from the time when a complaint in regard to the defect has been made, the purchaser will have the right to cancel the purchase and on return of the item to receive a refund of the sum that he/she paid to Stockholms Auktionsverk in connection with the purchase.
8.7 A claim must be made in respect to any defects immediately after the purchaser has discovered such a defect, but within seven days of the date of auction at the latest. A complaint concerning information about the creator such as is stated in clause 8.3 second paragraph above must though be made within three years of the date of purchase.
9 CANCELLATION RIGHT
9.1 A buyer who is a private consumer has a cancellation right in accordance with the Swedish Act “Lag (2005: 59) om distansavtal och avtal utanför affärslokaler”. Exemptions from the cancellation right indicated in the said Act apply in full.
9.2 A purchase should be canceled within the cancellation period which is a period that runs for 14 days from the day the buyer receives the purchased lot in its possession. A message about a cancelled purchase must be submitted to Stockholm Auktionsverk in writing via email or letter within the cancellation period.
9.3 After the purchase has been cancelled it is the responsibility of the buyer to, within 14 days, at his own expense return the lot to Stockholms Auktionsverk.
9.4 When Stockholms Auktionsverk has received the lot and examined and approved its condition the purchase price will be refunded to the buyer within 14 days with the exception of paid storage fee.
10.2 Stockholms Auktionsverk’s liability in the event of any delay is limited to that stated in these terms and conditions.
Any dispute arising in regard to these terms and conditions shall be resolved in accordance with Swedish law at a court of law in Sweden.
